I am officially addicted to Farmville. It's an interactive game on facebook where you have like a piece of land and you grow crops and raise animals and stuff. It's completely ridiculous and time consuming but I love it. Right now I'm on level like, 8. All my friends either have it or make fun of me for having it but seriously this game is so fun haha. You grow crops and get money once the seeds have grown and you harvest them. Once you have enough coins you can plow more land and buy seeds. I can't even believe I'm blogging about this because it's completely crazy but I need to tell the world about this addictive game! :)
I played this game for a while during the summer but then i stopped once i got back to school. My GF still plays it all the time though. Have you seen the new one made by the same company about working in a cafe? You cook food for people and stuff.
ReplyDeleteI think this game is just a knock off of Harvest moon which is a great game. I dont see how people can waste hours of time playing this game. I feel actually secluded because i feel that everyone does play this. i constantly hear my friends talkabout making virtual money and how they have to go check on their farm before they can go eat. They love it and im one of those friends that make fun of them for playing. But yes i guess i can say that you are right that the game is addictive because just about everyone i know plays constantly.

ReplyDeleteIt is a total Harvest Moon Knock off, with much less. But damn is it addicting, I can't put my finger on why? I guess that is what keeps bringing us back, why the hell are we absorbed in this, haha.

ReplyDeleteI got hooked on Farm Town but haven't moved on to FarmVille yet. I didn't get what was so appealing about virtual farming, but one of my friends kept sending me Farm Town invitations and she was like, you have to at least try it, its so addicting, you'll see! Well, I got sucked right in and I'm at level 24 now!
